Telos Corporation is an information technology (IT) solutions company located in Ashburn, Virginia. The company’s name is derived from the Greek word for “purpose” or “goal". Telos currently leads the NETCENTS contract for the US Government.[5] On March 19, 2009 Telos announced that it will sit on the Open Compliance and Ethics Group’s Technology Council[6]

Involvement in the community

Telos corporation is involved in a number of programs designed to better its community with particular focus on education and aiding victims of tragic loss.

Telos supports TAPS, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, a national non-profit organization providing bereavement services to the families of the men and women of the US military, providing both monetary and in-kind donations. Telos also supports Project Rebirth, a project documenting the reconstruction of the World Trade Center site and the lives of victims of the attack. 

Telos has a 4 year commitment to the Wolf Trap Institute, an early learning program designed to teach science and math through the arts. Telos also has a formal partnership with C.S. Monroe Technology Center.
